The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Brown University Health and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is seeking an experienced Board Certified Infectious Diseases Physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our faculty as a ClinicianEducator to work primarily at Newport Hospital a 129-bed award-winning facility.

About the job:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient general infectious diseases consultations
- Serve in a leadership role in Infection Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship at Newport Hospital while being fully integrated within the Brown University Health system-wide infrastructure
- Oversee antimicrobial stewardship and infection control programs at Newport Hospital
- Academic appointment at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University with the opportunity to teach and mentor medical students residents and Infectious Diseases fellows
- Approximately 24-30 weeks of inpatient service primarily at Newport Hospital with opportunities to rotate through other Brown University Health hospitals
- Call responsibilities: Shared after-hours coverage and approximately 12 weekends per year
- 20% protected time to engage in scholarly activities aligned with academic interests

- Salary range of $180K-$210K
