Key Responsibilities
- Will prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements.
- Coordinate technician scheduling and workload management. Assign projects and prioritize resources to ensure execution of quality initiatives.
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with technicians to review performance and progress provide coaching and address challenges.
- Monitors DMRs Scrap and Rework costs and deploys strategic projects to drive optimization and cost reduction to achieve organization goals.
- Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to drive DMR reduction initiatives and process improvements using lean six sigma methodology. Lead and support initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing robustness reducing defect escapes and increasing process capability.
- Ensure rapid containment to manufacturing line-down and field escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and support 8D projects where required.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; drives correction actions; provides failure analysis report as required.
- Interface with other engineering functions to ensure new products have implemented changes which mitigate the risk of discrepant material being generated.
- Prepare and present quality metrics and initiatives to senior leadership.
- Facilitate meetings to receive updates on tasks and projects.
- Provide training to new team members and operations to enhance team capability or as part of stand downs.
- Will need to lead and facilitate SFMECA safety projects.
- Evaluates work methods procedures and policies. Develops and maintains new business processes; edits as necessary to ensure current practices are documented.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Science or other relevant qualifications.
- Preferably at least 3 years of quality engineering experience.
- Professional qualifications in Quality will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in quality analysis tools and statistical software (e.g. Excel Minitab Tableau).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment across different time zones.

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
