Description / Position Overview

Projects do not fail because of one major issue.

They fail because approvals stall agencies stop responding consultants miss deadlines filings sit untouched and nobody owns pushing the process forward.

This role exists to prevent that.

We are hiring a Project Manager to own execution and coordination across multiple active development and construction projects. This person will operate from the office and drive momentum across agencies consultants subcontractors expediters and external partners to ensure projects continue moving without delays.

This is not an administrative coordination role.

This is an execution role for someone who can take ownership identify bottlenecks early push external stakeholders aggressively and independently drive projects through completion.

The ideal candidate is highly organized proactive detail-oriented and comfortable operating in fast-moving construction and development environments where priorities shift quickly and accountability matters.

What Youll Own

Own execution across multiple development and construction projects simultaneously
Drive approvals permits filings and documentation through completion
Maintain accountability across agencies consultants subcontractors and external vendors
Push stalled items forward and eliminate bottlenecks before timelines are impacted
Maintain visibility across all active workflows and dependencies
Ensure external stakeholders remain aligned with project timelines and deliverables
Escalate issues early and drive resolution before delays occur
Operate as the central coordination point across office-side project execution

Must-Haves

Experience in construction development project coordination expediting or related environments
Strong understanding of development and construction workflows
Experience coordinating agencies consultants subcontractors or external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
Strong follow-through and ownership mentality
Ability to independently execute without constant oversight

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working with NYC DOB permits violations or agency filings
Exposure to ground-up or large-scale development projects
Experience supporting development pre-construction or construction management teams
Familiarity with expediting or permitting workflows
