Job Summary
University Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our San Diego CA location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Processing of job-related invoices including Subcontractors and material purchases.
- Processing of employee expense reports in accordance with company guidelines.
- Preparation of weekly check runs including payments to Subcontractors.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements including corresponding with vendors and responding to inquiries concerning payment or invoice issues.
- Assisting Project Managers in the reconciliation of purchase orders and Subcontracts.
- Special projects as needed.
- Thorough understanding of sales and used tax. Including the ability to distinguish being purchases that are taxable non-taxable and/or qualify for tax exemptions.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess strong computer skills including intermediate MS Excel. Vista by Viewpoint Construction Software pVault by Paperless Environment and/Construction experience highly preferred.

Compensation: $29 - $34 Hourly
