Job Summary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or equivalent and at least four years of benefits and leave experience required. A combination of degree and experience will be considered.

  • Strong understanding of state and federal requirements and regulationsregardingbenefits wellnessFMLA ADA COBRA and related employment regulations.
  • Proficient experience with HRIS.
  • High levelof knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Experience in higher educationpreferred.
  • Excellent communication documentation and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

              COMPENSATION is determined based on the qualifications experience and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program health insurance paid time off and a retirement savings plan with company match. The salary range for this position is $69000 to $93380.

            • Reviewprocessand ensure accuracy ofrequired documentation to ensureaccuratebenefit enrollment termination and record keeping;monitorsqualifying life event changes and employment status changes resulting in eligibility changes.
            • Process and issue COBRA notices andbenefitterminationsin accordance withregulatory requirements.
            • Act as a liaison for benefits issues with employees andvendors;provides resources so that employees can make informed decisions.
            • Assistwith the annual benefit renewal process includingevaluating currentvendors reviewing renewal proposalssupportingimplementation andpromoting ongoingprograms toenhance employee awareness and engagement.
            • Lead coordination effortswithintheannual open enrollmentprocessby collaborating withthe Benefits Broker to create and distribute materials schedule andparticipatein meetings and verify and audit employee enrollment data.
            • Oversee and auditinvoicing andbilling includingreconcilingmonthlybillings to ensure accuracyandidentifyingand resolvingdiscrepanciesbetween the HRIS and the benefit vendor(s).
            • Analyze benefitsutilization cost trends and employee feedbackto develop and recommend plan design changes that improve value compliance and employee experience.
