The General Manager Conjugation Businessis responsible for leading Abcams flow cytometry and conjugation growth agenda including taking overall accountability for the delivery of the RUO Flow Reagent GCV a breakthrough cross-operating-company program critical to Danahers future growth.

They will own the endtoend business and product strategyfor conjugation at Abcam and together with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences (BECLS) create and manage a portfolio of products serving the researchuseonly flow cytometry market.

This role combines enterprise-level innovation leadership with business ownership operating at the intersection of strategy technology customer value and execution. The role offers the opportunity to lead a global cross-operating-company multisite project with activities at Abcams Cambridge (UK) and Hangzhou (China) sites and frequent interaction with BECLS teams in Miami (US) and Bangalore (India). This position can be located in the UK or the US and the candidate will need a high level of flexibility to travel.

This position reports to the Vice President Product Management & Strategy.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Own full P&Lstyle accountability for the Conjugation businessdriving sustainable revenue growth portfolio performance and customer value across flow cytometry and other applications.
• Lead endtoend program and product success making critical trade-offs and investment decisions that balance customer value revenue growth quality ontime delivery and product cost.
• Shape the future through strategic product leadership by anticipating market and technology trends defining longterm portfolio strategy and driving value creation through disciplined execution.
• Partner closely with R&D Operations Finance and Commercial teamsto translate strategy into roadmap execution ensuring clarity of ownership and decisionmaking.
• Elevate risk management and portfolio governance by pressuretesting assumptions enabling structured tradeoff discussions and ensuring datadriven decisions.
• Lead with purpose by developing future product and business leaders role-modeling DBS Kaizen and Danaher culture.
• Business leader for Abcams Conjugation Virtual Business Unit driving growth and operational excellence across Abcams conjugate portfolio.

The essential requirements of this job include:

• A PhD or equivalent in a life sciences discipline
• Longstanding experience (10 years) in RUO research reagents
• Several years (5 years) of experience managing people and leading teams
• Deep expertise in flow cytometry antibodies dyesand conjugation technologies
• Strong product portfolioand business knowledge with the ability to balance scientific depth with commercial decisionmaking
• Ability to distill complex scientific and technical topics and communicate effectively to both scientific and nonscientific stakeholders
• Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed global environments
• Track record of delivering complex crossfunctional programson time and within agreed targets

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Up to 50% travel visiting sites partnersand conferences/trade shows

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Leading complex global crossfunctionalor multiopco initiatives
• Product management portfolio ownershipor general management roles

The annual salary range for this role is $170000 $200000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
