Job Summary

Job Purpose

The Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Supervisor has responsibility for supporting and implementing Occupational Safety to achieve excellence on Sites. You will work with Supply Chain teams to implement SHE Strategy and improvement plans to achieve sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries expressed in TRFR and increase Safety Culture.

  • Support the SHE Manager and team withimplementing ofeffective policies guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
  • Support deploying the global / regional SHE strategy policy and standards in sites to achieve excellent sustainable results.
  • Following-up the SHE performance indicators and reporting regular monthly and quarterly internal and external reports on time.
  • Supporting and guide functions to implement SHE requirements.
  • Developing deploying & implementing plans to improve driving safety and occupational safety records of the sites.
  • Monitoring and driving safety activities ofthe factory.
  • Ensure training toolbox meetings and drills are implemented as part of the companys training and safety response systems etc.
  • Driving safety risk assessment to work with sites to develop and implement improvement action plans.
  • Working with regulatory bodies on ensuring the factorymeetall local national legal and Unilever standards on Occupational Health Safety and Environment.
  • Supports department/plant budget alignment and attainment.
  • Supporting the preparation of safety incident reportsconductincident investigations and root cause analysis to define and implement corrective actions.
  • Increase SHE awareness among the employees using all visual written and verbal communication channels.
  • Supporting maintaining full compliance with all SHE Unilever framework standards and Legal requirements.
  • Participating in external and internal audits coordinating necessary activities and informing relevant people in the organization.
  • Control all major risks ensuring there are plans and actions to mitigate impact in cases of accidents.
  • Deploying internal SHE audits and inspection systems to ensure compliance of processes and systems.
  • Performing trend analyses for accidents / incidents.
  • Determining training needs and assist in delivery of training programs.
  • Occupational Safety in Site.
  • Risk Assessments.

  • Incident Analyses.
  • Legal Compliance.
  • Safe travelling.
  • Safety performance KPI reporting.
  • Security.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelors degree in STEM related or EHS related field.
  • Experience in EHS Department or with SHE Teams.
  • Factory or industrial based EHS experience.
  • Ability to lead teams.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Communication Skills.
  • Good observation and Auditing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Machinery and/or Process Safety Knowledge.
  • 3rdparty Audit Experience.
  • Certification and/or advanced degree within STEM related field.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88600 to $133000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications qualifications and education and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
