AES a division of Lennox was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AEShas 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

WhatYoullDo:
Market Research and Supplier Identification:
- Conduct market research toidentifypotential suppliers.
- Source materials components and servicesfor manufacturing operations.
Supplier Evaluation and Selection:
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost quality reliability and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements.
Supplier Performance Management:
- Track supplier performance in terms of on-time delivery quality and responsiveness.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production engineering sales) toalign onmaterial requirements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels andidentifypurchasing needs.
- Manage inventory levels tooptimizeworking capital and ensure uninterrupted production.
Cost-Saving Initiatives and Process Improvements:
- Identifyand implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement process improvements related to purchasing.
Industry Awareness and Trend Monitoring:
- Stay updated on industry trends market conditions andnew technologies.
- Proactivelyidentifyopportunities for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in supplier management procurement or related roles.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or Business Administration.
- Strong negotiation abilities and analytical skills.
- Willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Ability to drive transformation and implement changes.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience withERP systems implementation.
Travel Requirement
This role is based out of ourTallassee ALheadquarters just 30 minutesoutside ofAuburn AL and Montgomery AL.
This role will require occasional travel to production sites in Reno NV; Weatherford TX; and Wheeling WV. Approximately20% of your time will be dedicated to traveling to these sites allowing you to build strong relationships with on-site teams andfacilitatecross-site collaboration.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79200 - $103950 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
