The Prevailing Wage Compliance Analyst is responsible for overseeing and assisting with prevailing wage compliance and apprenticeship requirements working directly with our subcontractors to review certified payroll submissions validate wage classifications and rates ensure proper apprenticeship documentation and assist with uploading documentation in various third-party agencies SharePoint portals and online certified payroll systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Review subcontractor certified payroll reports (CPRs) for accuracy and compliance
Verify wage classifications wage and fringe calculations
Review documents for compliance with prevailing wage regulations
Review and validate supporting documentation including apprenticeship documentation fringe benefit statements and restitution calculations
Assist subcontractors in getting set up with third-party agencies and clients to be able to upload payroll records and documentation to client portals and certified payroll reporting platforms
Communicate as an intermediary point person directly with subcontractors to resolve discrepancies and compliance deficiencies with third-party agencies
Track outstanding items
Maintain documentation records in compliance for auditors
Support internal payroll team with prevailing wage tasks
Assist with DOL or third-party agency inquiries and audits
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in prevailing wage compliance or certified payroll administration
Strong working knowledge of Davis-Bacon state prevailing wage laws and apprenticeship program requirements
Experience reviewing and certifying CPRs
Familiarity with LCP Tracker CTP uploads or similar compliance platforms
Strong understanding of wage determinations fringe benefit calculations and restitution processing
Experience working directly with subcontractors on compliance matters
Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in construction renewable energy or government-funded projects
Experience responding to DOL inquiries or third-party compliance audits
Physical Requirements:
Sitting: Majority of the workday will involve sitting at a desk using a computer
Standing/Walking: Occasionally required for tasks such as retrieving files or attending meetings
Lifting: May occasionally be required to lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 20 pounds
Dexterity: Frequent use of hands to operate office equipment such as a computer keyboard mouse and phone
Vision: Close vision required for computer and paperwork tasks; ability to adjust focus and read small print or electronic displays
Hearing/Talking: Regularly required to communicate verbally with employees and vendors via phone or in-person
Repetitive Motion: Repetitive movements of the wrists hands and fingers during daily tasks such as typing
