Position/Location Specific Information:
- Manufacturing Technician I Component Preparation Third Shift (10:30PM to 7:00 AM Sunday Night Friday Morning)
- This position is based out of our Grand Island NY site within BioProduction Group.
- Competitive Pay: $18.50/hr; shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
What will you do
- Prepare build and sanitize equipment for the manufacture of cell culture media
- Work in a variety of environments including dedicated clean room areas
- Calibrate and operate manual semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Follow all safe practices policies standard operating procedures and work instructions in controlled environments up to and including classified clean rooms.
- Complete and maintain compliance with the Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
- Complete routine or standardized tasks related to manufacturing of cell culture media. Perform related duties as required to meet the business goals and requirements.
How will you get there
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
- Prior experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment is preferred.
- Prior experience following Good Documentation Practices is preferred.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- General understanding of technical mechanical and machinery equipment is preferred. Basic computer skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail for instructions and documentation while maintaining quality output.
- Perform basic math verbal written and oral communication with team.
- Ability to push pull lift and move up to 50 pounds and may be required to stand for extended periods of time while performing duties. Ability to squat bend and reach different items to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including work uniform steel toe shoes hair net beard guard (when required) safety glasses and gloves. PPE may also include a bump cap face shield and full/half-face respirators.
- Availability to work overtime and flexible shift patterns.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.05$21.07.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
