In this high-impact high-visibilityroleyouwilldevelop and execute strategic internal communicationsto engage informand inspire GEICO associates.Thisrolewhich reports to theDirector of AssociateCommunicationswillmanagetwodirectreportswhoseresponsibilityissupporting ourPeople Group/HumanResourcesorganization.

The best person for this jobcollaborates wellcaneffectively lead a teamthink strategicallyand execute on a tactical level.Exceptional writing skills a deep understanding of internal communications attention to detailstrong teamleadership skills and experience working directly with senior leadersarevital to your success.Importantly you will have a close engaged relationshipwith Corporate Comms leadership whose(literal and figurative) doors are always open forcounsel and strategic planning this is a team priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Create targeted messaging and campaigns to addressnew programsor processes policies change management and engage associates at all levels withinthe People Group

Engage regularly withPeople Groupstakeholders to understand their key priorities and develop strategic communications plans and tactics to bring their initiatives to life for GEICO employees(keyareaswill includeBenefits Compensation Learning & Development and more)

Employ both proactive and reactive strategic thinking and decision-making

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal communications

Are our people getting itContinuously measure evaluate andmodifyplans and tactics to improve impact and effectiveness.

Embrace oursupportiveteam.Mentorand inspireteam members including settinggoals providing development and leadership and tracking success metrics.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of relevant corporate communications experience

Strong internal communicationsexperience andwriting skillswith the ability to understand and communicate difficult concepts

Exceptional communicator:able to present ideas verbally in writing formally and informally

Desireand abilitytofocus more on humanity less on corporate speak

Adept at influencing business partnersand driving adoption of new commsinitiatives

Experience working onHumanResources/Peoplecommunicationsat a largecompany itdoesntneed to be the bulk of your career but experience is preferred

Someone who knows how toguide high-performing teams and bringsout the best ina personscapabilities

Experience working withsenior-level leadersthose within HR is a plus

Ability to work quickly andmultitaskin adeadline-driven environment whilemaintaininga high levelofattention to detail

Proficiencyinusingcommunication and collaboration platformsand analytics to drive effective communications

Bachelors degree

Annual Salary

$104550.00 - $172200.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role the selected candidates work experience education and training the work location as well as market and business considerations.
