JOB DESCRIPTION

Ready to join an amazing team of marketing and communication professionals We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to create powerful buyer personas and messaging for our suite of products.

Our ideal candidate is a creative professional with a strong background in B-to-B product marketing. You must be able to learn new markets quickly and develop engaging messaging for various buyers to drive awareness engagement and addition you must be able to work across internal departments to facilitate go-to-market activities including rolling out new products to the market and product updates to existing customers. This role is primarily aligned with the carrier side of the business supporting carrier-focused products and initiatives. However the individual will also need to demonstrate the ability to understand and effectively market to both carrier and agency audiences. For this position its also essential to be familiar with new technologies and marketing trends.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively

Be the expert on our buyers: create and update buyer personas and be the voice of the buyer internally and externally

Collaborate with the go-to-market team to define and execute go-to-market strategies that launch and commercialize our products in a differentiated light

Be able to demonstrate our top differentiators and articulate the strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats for various products

Lead competitive intelligence efforts including the collection and analysis of competitor offerings positioning pricing messaging and go-to-market strategies as well as develop and maintain competitive assets (e.g. battlecards)

Translate competitive and market insights into clear actionable recommendations for Product Marketing Sales and Enablement stakeholders.

Support and guide internal marketing partners in developing producing and delivering high quality materials in for thought leadership and demand campaigns

Partner with Product Management to guide the evolution of our product roadmaps

Lead Product Marketing foundational initiatives and mentor junior product marketing staff

Collaborate cross-functionally on the creation of trainings product pitch decks and market intelligence for the sales teams



Qualifications:

5 years experience in enterprise product marketing product management or related fields preferred

BA/BS degree in marketing communication or other relevant field preferred

Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities

Experience in insurance or financial services preferred

Project management skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Office

Excellent verbal communication presentation skills and writing proficiency

High performer who consistently meets/exceeds personal MBOs but thrives in a team environment

Additional Requirements and Details:

Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Located and working from an office location (preferred)

Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer etc.).

Frequent sitting and/or standing.
