What You Will Do:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team in executing tasks supporting the PW-internal and external repair businesses and/or engine centers
• Lead the Project Engineering Discipline in planning and tracking Projects to achieve optimal efficiency and establish best practice in project planning.
• Lead the triaging planning tracking and reporting progress for assigned repair case work. Interface with the ASE Program Managers and Discipline Managers on schedule budget and performance. Drive for excellence in on-time delivery.
• Support PW-internal and external repair businesses and/or engine centers.
• Identify risk and manage risk reduction efforts
• Drive continuous improvement activities and robust root cause investigations to ensure ASE and P&W continue to deliver world class customer and shareholder value

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology or Engineering and minimum 8 years of related experience or an Advanced degree and minimum 5 years.
• Project Engineering experience.
• Experience managing risk cost quality and schedule for programs with domestic and international customers.
• Experience executing a long-term strategy partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to execute that strategy.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10 years of engineering experience in aerospace or similarly complex safety-critical industries.
• Proven success working with cross-functional engineering teams through the full product lifecyclefrom proposal and concept to production and service.
• Good communication collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and represent engineering with internal and external customers.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) budgeting and resource planning
• Demonstrated experience managing programs and experience in managing program staffing assignments and resources.
• Relevant shop experience either OEM or component repair.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
