Process Technician (Night Shift)

Location: Duncan SC
Schedule: 2/2/3 Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Compensation: $25.00 $30.00/hour Shift Premium Overtime Bonus Potential

Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Technicianto support production operations within a growing manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment uptime troubleshooting production issues and ensuring efficient high-quality manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude hands-on troubleshooting experience and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers a clear path for technical growth and advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to assigned production lines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues in a timely manner
• Perform equipment setup changeovers and process adjustments as needed
• Execute preventive maintenance (TPM) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and document downtime identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with operators maintenance and engineering teams to improve process efficiency and product quality
• Assist with new product introductions and process validation activities
• Ensure adherence to safety quality and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher in Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering Technology Electrical Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing production or technical support environment
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup
• Basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g. multimeter usage motors sensors)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs (TPM) and downtime tracking

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires frequent interaction with production equipment tools and machinery. Candidates must be comfortable working on the production floor and supporting off-shift operations as needed.
