DevSecOps Developer

Peraton seeks a DevSecOps Developer to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.

Location: Fort Meade MD.

In this role lead DevSecOps practices for the Analytic Development Team implementing secure CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code and automated testing within the CDSO framework.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for analytic applications
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible
• Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines
• Manage containerized deployments (Docker Kubernetes)
• Ensure code quality through automated testing
• Collaborate with security team on DevSecOps standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• Kubernetes certification
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions)
• Strong experience with IaC (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of security scanning tools and practices
• Experience with version control and branching strategies
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS DevOps or equivalent
• 8 years specific experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
