The Academy of Mount St. Ursula an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx needs a science teacher for the upcoming school year September 2026 - June 2027. We are a diverse school community and we welcome applicants of all faiths.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Regents Living Environment (Biology) AP Biology Anatomy & Physiology and/or Earth Science
  • Prepare students for Regents and AP exams
  • Deliver engaging standards-aligned lessons with hands-on lab experiences
  • Differentiate instruction and monitor student progress
  • Incorporate and support AMSUs Catholic values and mission in teaching and interactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Biology Science Education or related field (Masters preferred)
  • NYS Science Teaching Certification (required)
  • Regents/AP teaching experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management skills
