Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents responding to needs resolving concerns and supporting a positive community environment
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the community runs smoothly safely and in compliance with affordable housing regulations
- Manage leasing activity including maintaining applicant pipelines supporting the selection process and working to achieve and sustain full occupancy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents prospective applicants vendors and internal teams
- Coordinate and connect residents with community resources to support their needs and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports including lead management and occupancy tracking
- Support financial processes including communicating rent responsibilities and assisting with community financial performance
- Assist with inspections safety procedures and compliance requirements at the federal state and local levels
- Respond to urgent or emergency situations as needed
- Provide support to other affordable housing communities and teams as needed ensuring consistency in operations and resident experience across locations

Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience or a Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in affordable housing property management as an Assistant Manager or Property Manager preferred.
- Knowledge of HUD LIHTC COS and the affordable housing industry is essential.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
