Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking motivated and talented electromagnetic interference (EMI) TEST engineers to join the L3Harris EMI Electrical Design Engineering Core Group.

The EMI/EMC TEST engineer will be responsible for developing procedures reports and the execution of various EMI and power quality test activities for a multitude of systems ranging from submersible to space platforms recognized around the world. The EMI/EMC TEST engineer will also support niche fields related to Power Variation (MIL-STD-704) Multipaction Corona Discharge and TEMPEST on products being developed throughout L3Harris. This position is for an entry level engineering professional with a highly inquisitive desire to develop technical expertise.
Essential Functions:
- Perform EMI Qualification test campaigns on cutting edge programs.
- Coordinate test and verify EMI design requirements with teammates customers and system architects through the qualification and sustainment of various L3 Harris systems.
- Develop test procedures and test reports.
- Perform EMI/EMC DO-160 MIL-STD-704 Power Quality HIRF Lightning RF co-site and antenna coupling testing.
- Apply EMI engineering technology experience to document and solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- International Association for Radio Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE) EMI/EMC engineer certification
- Must be familiar with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation shielding grounding and filtering.
- Must have familiarization of RF and measurement instrumentation such as receivers antennas analyzers and amplifiers.
- Possess a bachelors degree in electrical engineering engineering physics or engineering physics technology
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Massachusetts State is $80500 - $149500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
