Position Type:On-Call

Wage Range:
OT$50 - $60 / hour depending on experience
COTA$30 - $40 / hour depending on experience

Location:2190 William Ave Montevideo MN 56265

OT/ COTA Responsibilities:

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients physical cognitive and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises adaptive techniques and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies home modifications and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements document progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors physical therapists and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• COTA -Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
• COTA -Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
• COTA -Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• COTA -Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelors degree.
• Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License orMust possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state federal and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
