Senior Superintendent

Seeking a Senior Superintendent with aerospace construction experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Cape Canaveral FL.

Salary is between $155000 - $210000 per year (based on experience)

The Superintendent will plan direct and coordinate construction and maintenance activities for structures facilities and systems. This position will oversee projects from conceptual development through scheduling budgeting execution and completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead site superintendents and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate with owners contractors and design professionals to resolve project issues.

• Plan and manage project schedules budgets and cost tracking reports.

• Review and inspect work for compliance with construction documents building codes and safety standards.

• Determine appropriate construction methods based on project specifications.

• Investigate site incidents delays or safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients consultants and subcontractors.

• Develop and implement quality control programs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of progressive construction management experience.
• Experience working for large general contractors
• Experience working on aerospace construction projects

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate active construction sites including climbing lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on uneven surfaces.

• Ability to operate tools equipment and a motor vehicle.

• Capable of extended standing walking and working in various weather conditions.

• Ability to maintain focus make timely decisions and enforce safety and PPE requirements on-site.
