Job Summary
Durango School District is accepting applications for a Head Volleyball Coach at Miller Middle School for the 2026/2027 Season. This coaching position involves instructing middle school students (grades 7 and 8) in the fundamental skillsstrategies and physical training of volleyball. Starts August 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to organize and positively lead athletes and volleyball coaching staff
- Extensive knowledge of effective coaching practices/techniques of volleyball
- Ability to build rapport with middle school students
- Ability to build individual and team character and confidence
- Ability to relate to students of varying athletic abilities
- Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times
- Ability to work positively and communicate effectively with coaches staff parents and administration
