Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Chef de Cuisineat Soprana Rooftop Cucinca located atop the Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown!

At Parks Hospitality Group we are seeking a talented and creative Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at Soprana Rooftop this role you will oversee food preparation menu creation and the execution of high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards.

What Youll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus incorporating local ingredients and global trends.
  • Train manage and supervise kitchen staff ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed by all kitchen staff.
  • Manage kitchen inventory including ordering supplies ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food costs and assist with budgeting ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards.
  • Manage kitchen maintenance ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and functional.
  • Lead and inspire the culinary team to uphold creativity innovation and consistent quality.

What Youll Need:

  • 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in menu development and high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • A passion for food creativity and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in food safety and sanitation are required.
