CAD Drafter

Dynalectric Company San Diego is hiring an entry level technically savvy CAD Drafter to be part of our team. Dynalectric uses the latest CAD technologies such as AutoCAD MEP Revit Navisworks and Bluebeam for BIM coordination and shop drawings low voltage systems drawings and instrument and control design.

The position may offer career advancement to an individual who possesses or shows good ability to learn and understand the following: Production of electrical installation drawings Low voltage systems design 3D modeling CAD content development CAD software troubleshooting

Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

• Assisting CAD and Electrical Detailing 2d drawing production
• Red line markups and as-built in CAD software and Bluebeam
• Scanning and printing large format documents

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Solid understanding of AutoCAD professional training preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate with a team
• Revit and Navisworks is a plus
• Bluebeam experience is a plus
• Basic use of email Windows operating system and Microsoft Office
• Blueprint reading or past commercial electrical construction experience is a plus but not necessary

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD REVIT NAVISworks Lotus notes and other electrical technical or construction programs.
• Familiarity with project management/document control software.
• Familiarity with construction/financial software packages.

Compensation Range: $25-$32 hourly
