Key responsibilities:
Lead regulatory review across central andstatedevelopments affecting renewable energy and energy transition.
Oversee analysis of CERC/SERC orders and regulations (tariffopen access DSM grid code connectivity) and synthesize implications.
Guideworkstreams on energy storage green hydrogen biogas small hydro and pumped storage and relevant policy/regulatory reforms.
Prepare strategic recommendations and leadership briefs for decision-making.
Guidestakeholder engagement synthesis into actionable insights.
Ensure quality assurance of monthly reports thematic insights benchmarking scans seminarsummariesand repository outputs.
Minimum qualifications: in Engineering disciplines (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or related) and MBA from a recognized institution (desirable: Masters in engineering / MBA in Power Management).
Minimum experience:Minimum 15 years of experience in the electricity sector withexpertisein policy and regulatory affairs; proven leadership in regulatory analysis and policy advisory assignments.Experience of working in regulatory affairs with special emphasis onRE.Expertisein RE technologies power systems modelling (e.g. PLEXOS PSSEPyPSA STELLAR)
Specific experience:Experience of working with central or state regulators
Preferred competencies / skills:
Strong grasp of Indian power sector regulation and market reforms.
Excellent synthesis and drafting skills for government-ready briefs.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams andmaintaindelivery cadence.
High stakeholder credibility and diplomacy.
