Job Description

Cadence has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist within their Hardware Systems Verification Supply Chain Team. This person will have the following responsibilities:

• Design and scale the overall supply chain to meet growing business demands including sourcing strategy cost management and vendor governance.
• Develop and execute the sourcing strategy eliminate supply chain risks achieve operational performance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Execute global strategic sourcing including supplier selection contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Implement and oversee supply base cost management initiatives to drive value and maintain competitive advantage.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive management on procurement strategy vendor risk and cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 15 years of Supply Chain operational leadership experience in the electronic systems industry.
• Rich experience in nurturing long sustainable relationships with suppliers. Deep networks established with vendors in the electronics market.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively manage risks drive COGs down and achieve margin expansion.
• Strong background in procurement subcontracts material planning and inventory operations.
• Strong financial and P&L management skills with the ability to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

The annual salary range for California is $144200 to $267800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
