Pediatric Dental office is looking for Dental Assistant Level II with 2-3 years of experience an asset
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION:Keele & St. Clair (Free Parking)
HOURS:3-4 weekdays 8-5 & 2 Sat per month 8-2
COMPENSATION:$26-$32/hr depending on experience and performance

- Experienced Level II Dental Assistant (Level II Diploma or have NDAEB Certificate)
- Ideally have 2/3years of experience
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Tracker experience preferred
- Enjoy working with kids

JOB OVERVIEW:
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting dentist with crowns fillings sealantsextractionsfloride treatments etc.
- Placement and removal of rubber dams
- Taking x-rays of patients teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keeppatients mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentists reference
- Advising patients on dental care oralhygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable beforeduring and after dental treatment
