Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician III to support cardiology services by performing specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing. The role focuses on delivering accurate test results ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection with proper patient identification
• Transport specimens following chain-of-custody and safety standards
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing including EKG Holter monitoring and stress tests
• Document patient data and test results in hospital systems
• Ensure compliance with infection control and PPE guidelines
• Support nursing units with specimen collection and testing needs
• Maintain inventory and manage clinical supplies
• Assist in training new staff and supporting quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
• EKG Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiology testing procedures
• Ability to work independently and handle high-volume workloads
