Location: Edna Tina Wilson Living Center - 700 Island Cottage Road Rochester NY 14612

Hours Per Week: 24

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend

SUMMARY

Provides oversight of RN/ LPN/CNA and secretarial staff in the performance of daily duties. Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person working as a team with the nurse manager staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational targets. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established quidelines
• Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment & care of residents including interventions transportation & other resources needed
• Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving assessments special procedures & clinical skill enhancements
• Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicated

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
• Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.
• One to three years of nursing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree
• LT PAC nursing experience
• One year of supervisory experience

PAY RANGE:

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience relevant qualifications specialty internal equity location and contracts.
