Start Date: School Year 26/27

The remote Instructional Coach having both content and instructionalexpertiseworks as a colleague with academic administrators master and/or lead teachers and teachers to support student learning and teacher practice in a virtual PBL classroom. This position focuses on individual and group professional learning that expands and refines the understanding about research and databasedeffective instruction for teachers. The role supports others in building teaching skillsassistsin applying new knowledge and provides ongoing professional development to a school or schools within the region as a part of a team under the direction of the Instructional Methods Advisor.

This is a REMOTE full-time position.Abilityto work independently typically 40 hours per week is. Ability tomaintaina professional home office without distraction during workday typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

  • Designs andimplementswell organized individual and group learning opportunities for teachers and schoolleaders;

  • Models effective and differentiated instruction forteachers;

  • Creates and delivers ongoing professional development for teachers and schoolleaders;

  • Assiststeachers in aligning their instruction with strong teaching methods standards and studentdata;

  • Observes teachers and school leaders and provides meaningful feedback andcoaching;

  • Increases teacher effectiveness by improving the quality of teaching and learning through ongoing support toteachers;

  • Equipsstaff with resources and skills needed to implement effective instructionalpractices;

  • Assiststeachers and school leaders with implementing instructional decisions based on studentdata;

  • Assistsin implementing assessment and grading practices.

  • Provides support to teachers and administrators in analyzing studentdata;

  • Supports the development of high-quality professional learningcommunities;

Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in EducationAND

  • Five (5) years of successful teacher experience OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Ability to pass required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in designing and delivering quality professional development for administrators and teachers

  • Previouscoaching or leadership experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculumframeworksand standards.

  • Experience in research-based instructional practices for learning

  • Strong presentation facilitation and organization skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook Word ExcelPowerPoint.); Web conferencing tools Webproficiency.

  • Masters degree in Education Instruction or Leadership

  • Interpersonal skills to create collaborative and collegial relationships with teachers and school leaders

  • Effective communication collaboration and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Benefits: Stride Inc. considers a persons education experience and qualifications as well as the positions work location expected quality and quantity of work required travel (if any) external market and internal value when determining a new employees salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors the positions level and expected contribution and the employees benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $45000-$50000. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed as an individuals compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include but are not limited to geographic location experience training education and local market conditions.
