We are seeking an experienced professional to support client engagements focused on complex operations and planning decisionmaking in highly constrained missioncritical environments. This role helps design and embed decisionsupport capabilities that combine quantitative rigor with operational judgment process understanding and digital enablement.

The role emphasizes clarity explainability decision impact and requires comfortworkingacross operationsanalyticstechnology and solutiondelivery. Your role will include butisntlimited to:

  • Decision framing: Structure complex operational logistics and planning challenges as decision problems under uncertainty.
  • Frame trade-offs across capacity inventory risk service levels timing and operational constraints.
  • Apply the right level of analytical rigor based on decision criticality data quality and time constraints.
  • Applied modelling: Use quantitative techniques such as supply chain network design and optimization inventory planning under uncertainty (including multi-echelon) capacity/throughput/flow analysis and scenario/probabilistic simulation.
  • Validate models through sensitivity analysis back-testing and stress testing.
  • Translate analytical outputs into operational recommendations and decision-ready insights.
  • Technology & tools: Embed analytics into scalable auditable decision-support solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to shape data flows reporting logic solution requirements and system integration points and review/guide analytics code and pipelines.
  • Tools may include Python SQL optimization solvers simulation libraries and enterprise/cloud data platforms.
  • Team & client leadership: Lead and coach small teams oversee quality resolve delivery issues and engage business and technical stakeholders to align insights and solution design with decision needs while communicating results clearly.

What Youll Bring:

  • Degree in operations industrial/systems engineering computer science or a related quantitative field with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience applying quantitative analysis and/or digital solutioning to supply chain operations or complex planning problems in defense manufacturing or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge operational context with analytics to drive actionable outcomes.
  • Experience managing small teams and contributing to client-facing engagements.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms system integration concepts data architecture and digital workflow enablement (considered an asset).
  • Military experience is welcomed and encouraged.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Government of Canada Security Clearance (mandatory condition of employment).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills including simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

The salary range for this position is $112400 - $162400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations.

At PwC Canada base salary is determined by your skills experience qualifications and work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
