These individuals analyze client needs develop operational strategies and offer guidance and support to help clients streamline processes improve productivity and drive business performance.

We are seeking an experienced professional to support client engagements focused on complex operations and planning decisionmaking in highly constrained missioncritical environments. This role helps design and embed decisionsupport capabilities that combine quantitative rigor with operational judgment process understanding and digital enablement.

The role emphasizes clarity explainability decision impact and requires comfortworkingacross operationsanalyticstechnology and solutiondelivery. Your role will include butisntlimited to:

Decision Framing

  • Structure complex operationallogistics and planning challenges as decision problems under uncertainty.

  • Frame tradeoffs across capacity inventory risk service levels andtimingand operational constraints.

  • Applyappropriate analyticalrigor based on decision criticality data quality and time constraints.

Applied Modelling

  • Apply quantitative techniquesincluding:Supply chain network design and optimizationInventory planning under uncertainty (including multiechelon)Capacity throughput and flow analysisScenario and probabilistic analysis using simulation.

  • Validate models through sensitivity analysis backtesting and stress testing.

  • Translate analytical outputs into operations recommendations and decision-ready insights.

Technology & Tools

  • Embed analytics into scalable auditable decisionsupport solutions.

  • Work with technical teams to shape data flowsreportinglogics solution requirements and system integration points.

  • Review and guide analytics code and pipelines; not required to be the primary developer.

  • Tools may include Python SQL;optimizationsolvers;simulationlibraries;and enterprise or cloud data platforms.

Team & Client Leadership

  • Lead and coach small teams oversee work quality and resolve delivery issues.

  • Engage directly with client stakeholdersto align insightsand solution designtodecision needs and communicate results clearly.

  • Work effectively across both business and technicalstakeholdergroups.

What Youll Bring:

  • Degree in operations industrial/systems engineeringcomputer scienceor a closely related quantitative field.

  • Minimum5years of experiencein a relevant field

  • Experience applying quantitative analysisand/or digital solutioning approachesto supply chain operations or complex planning problems in defense manufacturing or other assetintensive industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to bridge operational context and analytics.

  • Prior experience managing small teams and contributing to clientfacing engagements.

  • Familiarityof enterprise platforms system integration concepts data architecture and digital workflow enablement is an asset.

  • Candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply

The salary range for this position is $112400 - $162400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary is determined by your skills experience qualifications and work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
