Director of Operations

What Youll Do

As Director of Operations you will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across multiple accounts and operational teams. You will be responsible for ensuring all sites meet contractual obligations financial targets and service standards while building strong long-term client partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple client sites or contracts
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality building automation controls systems
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers
• Monitor operational performance and ensure all KPIs SLAs and contract requirements are met
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting forecasting and cost control
• Review monthly and weekly financial and operational reports to drive accountability and improvements
• Support Area Managers Account Managers and site leadership teams through coaching and development
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency service delivery and profitability
• Manage workforce planning staffing models and subcontractor/vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety standards company policies and regulatory requirements
• Partner with sales and business development teams to support growth opportunities and new contract mobilization
• Act as an escalation point for operational and client issues ensuring timely resolution

Qualifications :

What You Bring

• 7 years of progressive leadership experience in building automation controls systems within operations 
• Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-account operations
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting forecasting and P&L responsibility
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading large teams including frontline staff and operational managers
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership
• Knowledge of contract management and service-level compliance
• Post-secondary education in business operations management automated controls or related field is an asset
