Role Overview
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work within Canadian banks focusing on Payments Fraud or AML domains. The BSA is responsible for gathering refining and documenting requirements mapping data flows and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs. This role collaborates with Product Owners Developers QE teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather refine and document business and technology requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Create flow diagrams and data mappings ensuring clear integration points using APIs.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure Developers/QE teams have fully specified requirements.
- Maintain traceability of system requirements and report on status.
- Provide leadership guidance and recommendations to ensure business and technology alignment.
- Lead technology requirements management for high-risk strategic initiatives.
- Identify and resolve complex technology requirements-related issues.
- Support Agile processes and user story development.
- Hands-on experience with tools: Jira Confluence Visio.
