Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
As a Sports Management and Recruitment Student Assistant you will be assisting both our Athletics and Admissions teams. Your primary responsibilities as a Summer Admissions Fellow consist of campus tours one-on-one connections with prospective students (in-person virtually and written form) phone calls and texts to prospective students assisting in the reception area and additional miscellaneous projects as assigned. Your primary responsibilities as a Sports Management Student Assistant will involve completing athletic administrative work assisting with athletic facility management participating in onboarding procedures and sensitive information and supporting admissions-athletics projects.
This role requires strong initiative creative problem-solving the ability to build relationships with students families and staff members and an athletics background and general interest.

Oral/Written Communication: Effectively interact with guests in-person and over the phone providing clear and professional assistance as a representative of the college.
Problem-Solving: Approach tasks and questions with innovative solutions and determination.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in data entry documentation and other administrative tasks and personalization when needed.
Responsibility: Take ownership over and prioritize assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Maturity/Work Ethic: Keep a professional manner and positive attitude with team members visitors and staff.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Thrives in an environment that promotes teamwork initiative and problem-solving
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite and Slate CRM
Experience as a St. Olaf student-athlete or equivalent experience
Strong desire to learn from various organizational roles within athletics
Strong sense of autonomy
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Timeline: Availability for the first seven weeks of summer (6/1 - 7/17)
Time off can be discussed with supervisors before accepting the offer and/or during the summer.
Must be fully available week of June 22-26
