About the Opportunity
Maintenance Officers work to coordinate the implementation of preventative maintenance programs. Work hours between 8am to 4pm.
- Undertaking repairs and maintenance of buildings plant and equipment
- Maintaining appropriate procedures and records of maintenance equipment and costs
- Reporting defects or improvements/replacements in buildings and equipment
- Liaising with suppliers
- Overseeing contractors and order/maintain supplieslevels.
About You
To be successful you will need:
- General maintenance experience (essential)
- Proficient documentation and computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and team members
A trade qualification and previous experience in aged care or related industry aredesirable but not essential.
The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check provide proof of COVID-19 and may need to complete a NDIS check.
