Job Summary

Summary:

The Oracle Apps DBA Project Manager plays a critical role in leading and delivering complex Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database engagements across multiple projects. With a strong foundation in Oracle DBA operations and project management this individual ensures seamless execution of upgrades migrations performance optimization and ongoing support initiatives. The role demands technical excellence strategic planning and effective stakeholder engagement to drive successful project outcomes in alignment with business objectives SLAs and security standards. As a key liaison between clients internal teams and leadership the Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery risk mitigation and continuous improvement in DBA operations across on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Apps DBA projects including upgrades migrations performance tuning and production support.
Develop and manage project plans timelines resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies to ensure on-time high-quality delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
Oversee the management of Oracle EBS environments (R12.x) including installation cloning patching upgrades and troubleshooting.
Ensure adherence to SLAs quality benchmarks and security compliance across all engagements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure Application Functional and Cloud teams.
Champion automation process standardization and best practices to enhance DBA operational efficiency.
Deliver regular project status reports dashboards and lead governance and review meetings.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA project management with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x).
Proven expertise in Oracle Database Administration (11g 12c 19c) and EBS environment lifecycle management.
Demonstrated experience in EBS upgrades patching cloning performance tuning and disaster recovery.
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting and system-level administration.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and managed services delivery models.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in enterprise environments.
Preferred: Exposure to OCI AWS or Azure cloud platforms and experience in cloud migration initiatives.
Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
