About the Role

Nalanda Vidyaniketan is seeking a dynamic detail-oriented and academically driven Computer Science Coordinator to lead and monitor the implementation of the Computer Science curriculum across Grades IX. The role demands strong leadership academic monitoring and data-driven decision-making to ensure excellence in teaching-learning processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Coordination & Monitoring

• Coordinate and ensure effective implementation of the Computer Science curriculum across Grades IX.
  
• Monitor subject-related reports for accuracy consistency and timely submission.
  
• Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with academic standards and institutional goals.
  
• Identify gaps and implement corrective academic strategies.
  

2. Lesson Planning Oversight

• Guide and supervise Computer Science teachers in preparing structured lesson plans.
  
• Ensure lesson plans meet curriculum objectives and academic benchmarks.
  
• Monitor adherence to submission timelines and review cycles.
  
• Provide constructive feedback to improve teaching quality and planning.
  

3. Activity Monitoring & Review

• Track assignments and activities assigned through digital platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams).
  
• Ensure timely completion of activities by students and teachers.
  
• Review and validate activity reports submitted by faculty.
  
• Consolidate weekly activity reports for academic review.
  

4. Academic Reporting & Verification

• Verify weekly academic plans syllabus coverage and progress reports.
  
• Ensure alignment between planned curriculum and actual classroom delivery.
  
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all academic documentation.
  
• Coordinate with teachers to address reporting gaps.
  

5. Assessment Tracking & Data Analysis

• Monitor timely posting of student marks in MCB (or relevant ERP).
  
• Analyze student performance data and academic trends.
  
• Generate insights from weekly academic activities.
  
• Support data-driven academic interventions and improvements.
  

6. E-Portfolio Monitoring

• Track and review student E-portfolio updates.
  
• Ensure proper documentation and timely submissions.
  
• Maintain quality standards in digital portfolio records.
  
• Promote best practices in student digital documentation.
  

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.

Experience (As per Market Standards)

• Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in teaching Computer Science and/or academic coordination in a school environment.
  
• Prior experience in curriculum coordination academic monitoring or leadership roles is highly preferred.
  
• Experience working with digital learning platforms and school ERP systems is an added advantage.
  

(Note: Most school coordinator roles typically require at least 3 years of experience while 5 years is preferred for leadership responsibilities.) ()
