Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Role Overview: We are urgently looking for a highly communicative and dedicated online instructor to teach Math and Science to a Grade 6 student located in Canada. The student follows the CBSE curriculum. This is a work-from-home position with a fixed early morning schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging concept-clear online sessions for Grade 6 Mathematics and Science based on the CBSE syllabus.
Accommodate the fixed session timing: 5:00 AM IST start time.
Ensure clear accent-neutral or highly proficient English communication to effectively connect with a student living abroad.
Assess the students progress and assign relevant homework aligned with CBSE standards.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in Middle School (Grade 6) CBSE Math and Science.
Must be comfortable with the 5:00 AM IST shift timing.
Excellent verbal communication skills are mandatory.
Prior experience tutoring international or NRI students is a major plus.
Must have a reliable laptop high-speed internet and a power backup setup.
Compensation: 250 to 300 per hour (Based on experience)
Required Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Education (.) or a relevant subject. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Cambridge Primary/IGCSE curriculum. Curriculum Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Cambridge Primary Stage 3 frameworks. Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence patience and excellent verbal communication in English.
Required Education:
Minimum Requirement: Bachelors Degree in any field (e.g. BA BSc BCom BBA).Preferred Fields: Education Psychology Communications Marketing or Social (Good to have): A Masters degree or a PG Diploma in Counseling or Education Management is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level.
