Job Summary
- Design and model supply chain network configurations to support strategic business objectives
- Analyze demand patterns lead times transportation costs and inventory levels to identify optimal network structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement logistics sales and finance to align network design with business needs
- Utilize advanced analytics and simulation tools to evaluate the impact of proposed network changes
- Lead the implementation of network optimization initiatives including facility location capacity planning and distribution strategies
- Monitor and report on network performance metrics driving continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Operations Research or a related field
- 5 years of experience in supply chain network design logistics planning or a similar role
- Proficiency in network modeling tools (e.g. SAP IBP Llamasoft Python or Excel-based optimization models)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with experience working in global cross-functional environments
- Familiarity with lean principles inventory optimization and transportation network strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and impact assessment of supply chain disruptions
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
