We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in a major strategic initiative focused on improving actuarial processes enhancing modeling capabilities and supporting data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with senior actuaries to deliver high-quality analysis financial projections and risk assessments while helping document and transition current processes to a more modern scalable future state.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for financial projections and risk analysis
- Perform loss reserving analysis including loss development and reserve adequacy
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis on key assumptions
- Support contribution rate analysis and actuarial justifications
- Prepare requirements documents capturing reports dashboards and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Translate complex actuarial results into clear actionable insights
- Maintain actuarial datasets assumptions and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance legal and leadership
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency
Requirements
Experience:
- 10 years of actuarial experience in P&C liability or related fields with at least 4 years in Actuarials
- Experience in reserving pricing or actuarial modeling preferred
- Experience in regulated or government environments is an asset
- Exposure to long-tail or medical liability lines is a strong plus
- Experience with actuarial tools (e.g. ResQ Arius) preferred
- Knowledge of R Python or SAS is an asset
- Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and SQL is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards
