We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in a major strategic initiative focused on improving actuarial processes enhancing modeling capabilities and supporting data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with senior actuaries to deliver high-quality analysis financial projections and risk assessments while helping document and transition current processes to a more modern scalable future state.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain actuarial models for financial projections and risk analysis
Perform loss reserving analysis including loss development and reserve adequacy
Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis on key assumptions
Support contribution rate analysis and actuarial justifications
Prepare requirements documents capturing reports dashboards and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Translate complex actuarial results into clear actionable insights
Maintain actuarial datasets assumptions and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance legal and leadership
Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency
Requirements
Experience:
10 years of actuarial experience in P&C liability or related fields with at least 4 years in Actuarials
Experience in reserving pricing or actuarial modeling preferred
Experience in regulated or government environments is an asset
Exposure to long-tail or medical liability lines is a strong plus
Experience with actuarial tools (e.g. ResQ Arius) preferred
Knowledge of R Python or SAS is an asset
Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and SQL is beneficial
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
