An opportunity has become available for an experiencedAccounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join their Perth-based finance team on a permanent basis. This role offers a broad mix of transactional accounting payroll processing and finance support within a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance team you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable and payroll.
This is a hands-on position where you will manage core finance processes while also contributing to general accounting support and system/process improvement activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end accounts payable processing including invoices and payments
Supplier account maintenance and reconciliations
Fortnightly payroll processing
Payroll compliance and statutory reporting obligations
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Support with month-end finance activities
Assistance with finance system updates testing and process improvements
Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business
Communication with external service providers and statutory bodies
General finance and administrative support tasks
About You
Minimum 23 years experience in a finance or accounts-focused role
1 years exposure to payroll processes and basic understanding of payroll legislation
Strong experience in high-volume transactional environments
Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Strong systems capability with hands-on experience in Pronto (essential)
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
A proactive and team-oriented approach
Experience in larger or more complex organisations will be highly regarded.
