Are you an experienced guide ready to take the next step into leadership A leading luxury lodge is looking for a passionate Assistant Head Ranger to help lead their guiding team and deliver exceptional wildlife experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Host guests and ensure every experience exceeds expectations
Lead and mentor the guiding team to maintain top standards
Oversee daily game drives walks and guest activities
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during guest interactions
Manage and maintain guiding equipment and vehicles
Contribute to conservation initiatives and field projects
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues professionally
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
Minimum 2 years guiding experience within a luxury lodge environment
Relevant guiding qualification Level 1 (minimum)
Valid drivers licence with PDP
First Aid certification
Strong leadership and team development skills
Passion for conservation and guest experience
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Advantageous:
Walking qualification (Grade II)
Assessor qualification
