Job Summary

Accountant - Linbro park

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of accounting functions ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance and effective financial management within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Ensure monthly management reports are prepared accurately and submitted within deadlines.
Assist with the preparation of management accounts schedules and financial queries.
Develop review and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Manage and oversee individual company accounts within the group structure.
Support senior finance leadership with ad hoc assignments projects and reporting requirements.
Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.

Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Completed articles at a Big 4 audit firm
5-7 years pos article experience
FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics
Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with reconciliations management accounts and financial analysis.
Advanced computer literacy particularly within accounting and reporting systems.
