PASTRY CHEF LUXURY 5 STAR LODGE NEAR KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join a luxury 5-star lodge near Kruger National Park. This live-in role is ideal for a culinary professional passionate about producing high-quality pastries desserts and baked goods in a luxury hospitality environment.

Salary: R32000 per month (Live-in Market Related)

Benefits: 1-bedroom unit Medical Aid (50/50 Contribution) Pension

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Pastry Chef is responsible for planning preparing and presenting all pastry dessert and baked items ensuring consistency quality and adherence to the lodges culinary standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and produce high-quality pastries desserts and baked goods

Maintain presentation quality and freshness of all products

Follow recipes portion control and food safety standards

Innovate and develop seasonal menus and specials

Maintain kitchen hygiene and equipment in top condition

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service

Manage inventory and stock control for pastry and baking supplies

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment

Strong technical skills in pastry and baking

Creative detail-oriented and committed to excellence

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
