Job Summary

Mail:- Garment Production Manager oversees the entire apparel manufacturing process from cutting to shipment ensuring production schedules quality standards and cost-efficiency goals are met. They manage shop floor operations coordinate with merchandising/design teams and lead workers to maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution: Developing production schedules (time and action plans) setting targets and managing daily operations from cutting to packing to ensure on-time delivery.
Quality Control: Ensuring compliance with brand standards and QC protocols including monitoring stitching finishing and conducting pre-final inspections.
Team Leadership: Hiring training mentoring and supervising production workers (sewing operators finishers) to maintain high productivity and discipline.
Resource Management: Managing raw materials (fabrics trims) optimizing machinery usage and reducing waste to keep production cost-effective.
Coordination: Acting as a liaison between design/merchandising departments and the factory floor regarding technical specifications and deadlines.
Safety & Compliance: Implementing safety protocols ensuring a safe work environment and maintaining labor discipline on the production floor.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Typically a Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering Fashion Technology or Business Administration.
Experience: Usually 58 years of experience in garment manufacturing with proven leadership in managing large teams.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of garment construction sewing machinery fabric behavior and production systems (e.g. Lean Manufacturing).
Problem-Solving: Ability to address bottlenecks machine breakdowns or material shortages efficiently.
Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers senior management and shop floor staff.
