Key Responsibilities
Product Development: Creating modifying and scaling up recipes for new food and drink products from concept to launch.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all products adhere to strict health safety and hygiene regulations including HACCP and labeling laws.
Quality Assurance: Monitoring production processes to maintain quality standards and testing samples for chemical/microbiological contaminants.
Innovation: Finding innovative solutions for ingredient sourcing shelf-life improvement and packaging such as reducing waste or modifying packaging materials.
Process Improvement: Enhancing manufacturing efficiency reducing production costs and solving production issues.
Documentation: Generating detailed technical reports nutritional information and specification sheets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: A bachelors degree in food science food technology microbiology or a related field is typically required.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of food chemistry microbiology and processing techniques.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data from trials and tests.
Collaboration: Working with R&D marketing production staff and supplier
