Job Summary
A well-regarded law firm based in Basingstoke is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their busy residential property team. This is a permanent full-time role and a genuine opportunity to step into a fee-earning position where your work will be valued and your caseload will be your own.
You dont need to be a qualified solicitor what matters is that you know conveyancing inside out front to back.
What youll be doing
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
- Handling sales purchases remortgages and transfers of equity
- Carrying out title investigations and raising/responding to enquiries
- Managing exchange and completion processes including SDLT registration and reporting
- Building relationships with clients estate agents and other solicitors
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hands-on conveyancing experience
- Solid experience across the full conveyancing process pre and post completion
- Confidence running your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and excellent client communication skills
- Familiarity with case management systems
- Qualification as a solicitor licensed conveyancer or CILEx is welcome but not essential
