Job Summary
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality safe and effective nursing care in line with NMBI standards
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised care plans
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
Monitor record and respond appropriately to changes in residents conditions
Lead support and supervise care staff during shifts
Promote residents independence dignity and overall quality of life
Communicate effectively with residents families GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations organisational policies and best practices
Requirements
Registered General Nurse qualification
Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Strong clinical knowledge with a commitment to person-centred care
Previous experience in the care of the elderly is desirable
Excellent communication organisational and leadership skills
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Ability to obtain Garda Clearance and provide suitable professional references
