School Nurse (RN)

Full-Time NonExempt Location: North Hudson Academy North Bergen NJ Compensation: $77000-$90000/annually

Up to a $10000 sign-on bonus based on qualifications!

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicatedRegistered Nurse (RN) Certified School Nurse (CSN) orLicensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team full-time working with children with special needs (ages 3 through 21) in a New Jersey Department of Education approved private special education school serving students from PreK through high school. We specialize in programs for students with behavioral/emotional issues pre-school handicapped and learners on the Autism Spectrum.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized health plans
• Facilitate necessary referrals to healthcare providers
• Coordinate emergency nursing management
• Engage in health activities

Team:

This role will be part of theinstructional team reporting to the school principal.

Basic Qualifications:

• Nursing license in the state of New Jersey - minimum LPN RN/CSN preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer Certifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Adequate vision and hearing.
• Physical mobility for emergency situations.
