Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient medical care within a small collaborative facility focused on rehabilitation and recovery. This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while enjoying a predictable schedule and supportive environment.
Summary:
- MondayFriday schedule with a round and go model for efficiency and work-life balance
- Provide inpatient medical rounding for rehabilitation-focused patients
- Manage and coordinate care for Internal Medicine and post-acute rehab patients
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams (therapy nursing case management) to support patient recovery goals
- Opportunity to develop longitudinal relationships with patients throughout their recovery journey
- Smaller facility setting
- Potential for Medical Directorship
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily rounds on assigned inpatient census
- Evaluate diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Collaborate with rehab teams to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide clinical leadership and support to facility staff as needed
Requirements:
- MD or DO Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active or eligible California medical license
- Experience in hospitalist post-acute or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
