About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Moran Sylvania. Permanent role part time 4 days per week.
Moran prides itself in supporting residents to make the most of every day and you will contribute through our wellness programs and facilities.
You will be one of two physios that lead the Wellness Program with flexibility to modify to match functional abilities of our residents and provide for their quality of life. Assessments treatment plans hands on therapy and ongoing interventions as well as leading the manual handling program are part of the role. You will be a part of a professional care team that values reliability efficiency and partnership. Moran offers a modern work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Accountabilities
Develop plan and implement Wellness Program that maintains and promotes optimal mobility and dexterity and functional capacity
Develop individual physiotherapy and treatment programs identify and perform interventions and therapy treatments
Identify and implement appropriate strategies to manage falls prevention acute and chronic pain.
Liaise with other therapists doctors and health personnel to ensure coordinated plan of therapy.
Skills/Requirement
Recognised degree or diploma in Physiotherapy with a minimum 2 years practical experience
Current AHPRA Registration
Previous experience in Aged Care will be highly regarded
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certification in Massage desirable

Possess a compassionate caring and supportive nature
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Must have a valid police check influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain) and valid Australian work rights
